「搭訕」，通常英文會說 hit on.
He likes to hit on girls at the bookstore.
(他喜歡在書局跟女生搭訕。)
I was just standing in line at KFC, and some guy started hitting on me!
(我在肯德基排隊時，有個傢伙突然跟我搭訕！)

至於「把妹」，可以說 pick up.
He goes to the bars on Saturday night to try to pick up girls.
(他禮拜六晚上會去酒吧，試圖把妹。)
其實，pick up 不一定限於男把女：女把男、男把男、女把女也行！
She likes to go to lesbian bars to pick up biker chicks.
(她喜歡去蕾絲邊酒吧，為了把「摩托車女」。)

pick-up 也可以當形容詞。
He’s a real pick-up artist.
(他實在是個把妹專家。)
I’m telling you, that’s a pick-up bar. I don’t think you would like it.
(我告訴你，那就是個「把人酒吧」，你應該不會喜歡。)
